Before you sign up for an adventure with Untamed Trails, please note that most of the rides offered are designed for experienced riders.
You should be able to ride different horses safely and control them in all three gaits, even in open terrain. To ensure a suitable and safe experience for you, your riding level will be assessed in advance and matched with the requirements of the respective trip. A good level of physical fitness is required, as well as the ability to remain calm and focused in unfamiliar situations.
If you don’t quite recognise yourself in this description yet: some of the rides offered are also suitable for less experienced riders - for example, the 6-day Chile ride. In such cases, this will be clearly stated in the respective trip description.
